When it comes to music, Geneva World wants everyone to know that girls can do it ALL BY THEMSELVES!!!

She does a radio show for a college in California called Girl Power Flower Hour where she only showcases girl bands. The girls all write, arrange and perform their own music and do it well.

Her focus for the show is on females making their own professional quality releases around the world. The styles of music played on her show include punk, pop, experimental, alternative, metal and good old fashioned rock.

Talk about girls doing it on their own; Geneva is quite an ambitious lady herself. She has created a web site which has a listing of indie labels and girl bands on these labels. She is also creating a CD which will be a compilation of all female bands ranging in style. Make sure to get one when it comes out.

Not only is it an awesome CD with kickin' songs, but $2 from each sale goes to benefit RAINN (The Rape Abuse Incest National Network), an organization created by Tori Amos and Atlantic Music Group.

Geneva also shoots for Girl TV, an all-girl music video show for her college TV station. She does it from her bedroom and takes the credit for being the producer, sound technician, camera woman and host!

Her show broadcasts out of Hayward, California every Saturday from 10 to 1 PM on KCRH for those of you in the area.
