Every month Zone Tones features a special crush we have on emerging male musicians/singers. This month we discovered a mysterious boy-pop duo from Canada. My efforts to reach them did not amount to much, but I was so intrigued by their charming voices and soothing melodies, that I knew I had to let all you girls out there know about this band!

Right now, the only place I can find pictures, audio and other small tidbits is from their Mp3.Com page. http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/316/wave2.html After only being on Mp3.Com for a few days, Wave was already charting on the Top 100 Pop Songs. Their song Daydream sort of sounds to me like Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray) joined the BackStreet Boys. I'd Give Anything would make the boys of N'Sync jealous (especially since the song was recorded on a small budget). California has influences from the late-great boy band, Savage Garden.

So check Wave out and if you find any additional information about the group, pass it on in the Zone Tones message board. Send these guys [email] from Mp3.Com http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/316/wave2.html and tell them how cool they are and what great music they have. Tell them the need to release a CD - right now!
