I invented JoinMarket, the first widely-used Equal-Output CoinJoin implementation. I also focus on education and writing for the bitcoin wiki including the extensive Privacy wiki page. Currently #10 all-timeof the Bitcoin Core contributors with 549 commitsmerged into Bitcoin Core and a primary focus on code review. It is these users who keep Bitcoin decentralized. Interested on second-layer solutions as well – started contributing to c-lightning in May 2020. Regular contributor to BTCPay Server and Zap LN wallet. Bitcoin Core Activity 2019
Ensuring developers effectively collaborate while receiving independent funding sources. We used an all time ranking for developer commits, however it may also be useful to look at a ranking for the past two years. Ranking developers by number of commits is only there for indicative purposes. Review work is important and not reflected by the number of commitments. On the other hand, funding is far more distributed than it has been in the past, certainly compared to the 2012 to 2014 period when there was only one significant funder, The Bitcoin Foundation.
