Traveling Essentials

Miss Fashionista (AKA Alexa Curtis) of Alifeinthefashionlane.com shares her top travel must haves.

We all know traveling can be a huge stress, especially when time differences have us all up until 1 AM and asleep until 7 PM. There are a few traveling essentials to have on hand during all hours of the day to ensure a relaxing and safe trip, and won't have you stressed out about spending money in an airport on expensive food, or rushing to a local boutique to grab a new pair of shoes!

1. Travel Outfit

Leggings paired with a comfy sweater and scarf are the perfect travel outfit during the holidays to keep you warm and relaxed during a long flight.

2. KIND bars/Larabars

One of my favorite on the go necessities is these healthy, gluten-free bars. Most of them aren't above 200 calories, and are comprised simply of dried fruits and nuts. These are great in a time crunch where you need a quick pick me up, or get hungry on an airplane. Make sure to opt for ones with the least amount of ingredients.

3. Trendy iPad case

There is nothing better than having a fashionable and trendy case for all your electronics. This way, all eyes will be on your chic looking case! Comme des Garcons is the case above, but Kate Spade, Michael Kors and Juicy Couture have affordable and adorable options!

4. Fashionable accessories

Are you the type of person always concerned about having cold ears or a cold nose? Well, a trendy beanie is the perfect way to accessorize and not break the bank. This ASOS beanie is under $11, and a great addition to a winter wardrobe.

5. The Latest It Book

Are you a fan of anything fashion related? Well, Alexa Chung, the industries "It" girl, just released a tell all book about her life experiences and especially about the excitement she has in her job. I'd recommend this for any fashionista looking for a thrilling new read.

6. Affordable Travel Tickets

Can you imagine traveling without the burden of spending tons of extra money on expensive airplane tickets and hotels? Well, one of my top travel companies I always book with is CheapOair. Known for vacation packages and deals out of the water, make this your go-to company to ensure all fees and unnecessary hassles are taken care of for you. That way, you can enjoy your  trip worry free!
