Brian Jacques makes his characters jump up alive from the page!
As the warriors solve each part of the riddle, they get closer and closer to the home of the Marlfoxes and the fearsome High Queen Silth. They find that being warriors isn’t all it they thought it to be. These Redwallers must look deep inside themselves to find the true strength and courage it takes to survive as a group of both friends and warriors.
When the team is split at the end, can they still use teamwork to defeat rats, ravens and foxes...? Go read Marlfox today and find out! It's a wonderful book, one of Brain Jacques best. (I know -- I have read all of his books!) It's easier to follow than some of his other books where there are so many different characters you can get confused and lost.
I could picture the animals better in this story and actually see them as they went along their journey. He makes his characters jump up alive from the page!
