Rachael Ray Looks For Less
Jenny rocked this look (and she's a pretty cool girl to rock it!) I loved styling the houndstooth print, because most people expect houndstooth to be suitable for an older age group, but that isn't the case. This look is age appropriate with a colorful and outgoing skirt in a smaller print, so you're not overwhelmed with a massive houndstooth overdose.

Topshop skirt ($68): Even though on the pricier side, this Topshop skirt is a fabulous and teen friendly investment piece that will remain in your closet for a few seasons!
American Eagle Chambray Shirt: $20
River Island necklace: $20
Steve Madden flats: $24
Forever 21 bag: $34
As a huge leather advocate myself, I enjoyed styling this teen in her look. She rocked leather because as someone with an edgier look, this suited her. A varsity jacket breaks up the more "adult" look, while black flats and a backpack make it super school appropriate.

Leather and houndstooth are two of my favorite trends, and styling 2 teenage girls on Rachael Ray in both styles was a completely different but exciting experience. Dressing a girly girl like Jenny in a fun and outgoing houndstooth skirt made her feel comfortable and confident, while styling the other teen in a rocker approach also made her feel like a superstar.
