Autumn Cool

Like the fall leaves, you want the situation to drop out of sight and get swept away. Sometimes your attitude might seem a little cool, but it's just that you want to move on and forget about what happened. All in all, saving your time and energy for more important battles is a pretty mature position to take -- as long as you recognize that some battles do need to be fought. The hardest part is figuring out which skirmish is which, but with your take-a-step-back-from-this-whole-thing approach, you'll never go rushing into a situation unprepared.

Winter Chill

For whatever reasons, you tend to avoid confrontation and conflict, no matter how much that may tear you up inside. Simply put, that's not a good thing. Imagine a pop bottle being shaken and shaken and shaken. For a while, we see nothing happening, but then KA-BLOOEY! The container is destroyed, and nothing is left. Expressing out emotions, especially under stressful situations, can be tough, so start with baby steps. Ask the teacher why you got that grade. Tell your friends when you feel good, bad, or when you don't even know how you feel. Just start talking.
