Sound familiar? This is the routine for some several million girls here in the US, and while grownups may think it's the dreamlife, it's not always an easy gig. There's a lot being asked of your body and brain, and it's hard to think about all the other things going on in the world when you are so-not-prepared for your test next Tuesday.
Unfortunately, things don't get easier as you get older. All of a sudden, you have to worry about other people, other communities, other countries. And you have to be able to make really big decisions, so you have to be constantly educating yourself so your decisions are good ones. Sounds like fun, huh? Actually, it CAN be pretty cool sometimes, but it's also important to know what's going on so no one can take advantage of you and make decisions that are really bad for you. The sooner you can use knowledge for protection and power, the better off you will be, so it's never too late for girls to put their ears to the door and listen to what's happening.
A powerful girl becomes a powerful woman, so don't let other people try to control your life!
