If you could shuffle the deck of life and pick out the guy that most suits you, what would he be like? What’s more important to you – a guy who can make you laugh or a guy who is so gorgeous he practically makes your heart stand still? There are lots of different kinds of guys. Most of them are not drop-dead handsome OR hilariously funny. Most of them are just regular guys. Some of them are pretty cute, but they might take themselves way too seriously. Some of them are really fun to be around, they make you laugh, but maybe they cross the line and act like complete jerks when you least expect it. Some guys make you feel beautiful, but then they get upset if you even smile at another guy. And of course, there’s always the guy who is so shy that you never get to know him well enough to find out how unbelievably sweet he really is. What IS the deal with boys anyway? Many of us end up being as confused as Georgia, the main character in Dancing in My Nuddy-Pants by Louise Rennison. Georgia finds herself attracted to two very different boys. One, she calls the Sex God (Robbie) and the other, Dave the Laugh. She’s totally sure that she wants to be with the Sex God, but when she sees another girl getting kissed by Dave the Laugh she says... . . even though I had a boyfriend, was ecstatic, in seventh heaven, couldn’t be happier, never thought about another boy for a second... I didn’t really like to see Dave the Laugh snogging other people. It sounds like Georgia isn’t quite sure which kind of guy interests her the most. It makes her feel oh-so-cool and the envy of other girls because Robbie really does look like a sex god AND tours with a hot band. But, Dave does make her laugh and he does look at the world the same way that she does. In fact she has this to say about Robbie... I sometimes wish he were more of a laugh, though. There is a slight danger that underneath his Sex God exterior lurks a sensible person. Take our quiz and find out which card (oops, I mean guy) you’d most like to pick from the deck...
