Individuals, Inc.

No doubt about it - you're an Innie. Since your strong point is with the individual and inner voice, you are really good at one-on-one relationships and you know what makes you happy. As an Innie, you are less likely to follow the crowd, which gives you plenty of time and space to figure out the whole "Who am I/Why am I here?" thing. And, as quiet as Innies may seem, the world couldn't function without them, since they are the people who have active imaginations and good ideas - two things needed to get any plan into action. There is one thing Innies have to remember, though - life is crowded with people, and we have to learn how to interact with many of them, whether we like it or not. Besides, some things in life are best done with others, like watching a really cheesy horror movie or getting in a Super Soaker fight!

Since Innies are known for being in tune with their minds, have you thought about being a scientist, writer or philosopher? Or have you considered letting your expressive expertise take you into the artistic world as a one-woman show or a behind-the-scenes force?

To improve your Social Streak...

  • Make a point to chat with someone you don't know too well at least once a day. Who knows - maybe the other person is an Innie, too!
  • Consider getting involved with volunteer work. This is a great way to meet all sorts of interesting people while doing something good. Breaking the ice shouldn't be a problem, since it's obvious you and the other volunteers have a shared interest at least one thing!
  • Pick a day to be an extrovert for a while; give answers in class, go to a party, join a club, or go on an outdoors adventure.
  • Make a list of things you would like to do as an Outie. Then, do them!
