As a flower, you have the advantage of being part of the in-crowd in the Big Garden of Life. In some ways, that may make your life a little easier, but you also realize that as the seasons change, so does your position in the garden. Why not use the power you have to let a few more weeds, ivies, cacti, and dandelions through the gate? It may not be a popular decision at first, but can you imagine how much stronger and fuller the garden will grow because plainer, protective species are there to help out?
You can start by finding someone you admire who is proud to be a weed or a cactus. Notice what it is that makes them confident and happy to be themselves. Figure out why you admire them. Contemplate the possibility that some of their wonderful weed or cactus ways might benefit YOUR life too!
