Needless to say, if your brainana splits to the right, you'll do really well in careers that require creativity and the ability to digest a lot of information all at once. Although the arts are a definite field, have you thought about jobs that involve travel or writing?
Wanna work your left a little? Try some of these suggestions:
- Test your logical strength with crossword puzzles and mind benders.
- Next time you have a hunch about something, try and find specific reasons you may have had that feeling. Sometimes hunches are really logic with a rightie's twist on it!
- Even though you probably recognize everyone in your class, try learning the names of ten people you see every day. Then, give yourself little mental tests to see how well you remember them. You could even try learning a detail or two, like "Melissa is the girl with the blue coat," which will only make your leftie powers stronger.
- If you like the visual arts, try and find the logic or reason behind one of your favorite pieces. For example, you might come up with something like: "She put that brush stroke of red in the lower left corner to highlight that figure." See? You can be creative and analytical at the same time!
