1. The Sister-to-Sister chat and bulletin board is being monitored by the American Association of University Women (AAUW). AAUW is providing information and services on the Internet as a benefit and service in furtherance of AAUW's nonprofit and tax exempt status. AAUW reserves the right to remove any materials that are posted by third parties onto this site or materials that are e-mailed by third parties to any other persons that AAUW considers to be objectionable. Notwithstanding the reservation of this right, AAUW is not responsible for material posted by any third party. AAUW specifically disclaims any and all liability for any claims or damages which result from any postings by third parties. Although the Girl Zone site includes links providing direct access to other Internet sites, neither AAUW nor Girl Zone have participated in the development of those other sites, and do not exert any editorial or other control over those other sites.

2. AAUW accepts no responsibility for the opinions and information posted by users other than AAUW. All policies of AAUW, including its Antitrust Compliance Policy, apply to use of AAUW's online services.

3. Do not post any defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, anticompetitive, or illegal materials. AAUW does not condone and will not be responsible for any such materials or resulting liability, including antitrust liability.

4. Do not post any information, software, or other material protected by copyright without the permission of the copyright owner. By uploading information, software or other material onto the Girl Zone site, the uploading party warrants and represents that it owns the copyright in such information, software, or other material, or has received permission from the person or entity who owns the copyright in such information, software, or other material. By uploading information, software, or other material onto the Girl Zone site, the uploading party grants Girl Zone and users of the Girl Zone site the non-exclusive right and license to display, copy, publish, distribute, transmit, print, and use such information, software, or other material. Subject to the grant of this license, the uploading party retains any other rights that the party may have in such information, software, or other material.

5. AAUW actively monitors the Sister-to-Sister chat room and bulletin board for inappropriate postings. If an inappropriate posting is discovered, AAUW will take all appropriate action.

6. AAUW reserves the right to remove or hide any message from the site and to terminate access to any user who does not abide by these guidelines.
