Lady Gaga's Preview Clip: "Marry The Night"

From blood-spurting performances to monologues as her male alter ego, Lady Gaga has created a movement in pop music towards individualism and expressionism. She has now released a preview clip for her latest single from Born This Way; “Marry The Night”. This one minute and 45 second teaser video clip portrays the unique way in which she brings important social issues to light.

In the clip, she is lying on a bed in a hospital whilst two nurses wheel her through the corridors. Her soft, almost monotonic voice-over creates a chilling atmosphere as she comments on the scene. “When I look back on my life, it’s not that I don’t want to see things exactly as they happened; it’s just that I prefer to remember them in an artistic way. And truthfully, the lie of it all is much more honest because I invented it.

Throughout the short clip, we waited in breathless anticipation as she was wheeled through passageway after passageway. As she reaches a room in which a nurse sits beside a piano, the scene fades to a black-out. Now we can’t help but wonder what will happen next. Will she be operated on? Will she suddenly rise up from the bed, run towards the white piano and start playing it and singing?

Her short teaser video has certainly caught our attention at Girl Zone, and we are looking forward for the release of her full video of “Marry The Night”, which will be seven and a half minutes long. Gaga is also releasing her new concert DVD, Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden, on November 21st, as well as Born This Way: The Remix, and Born This Way: The Collection. She is also releasing her photo book, Lady Gaga x Terry Richardson on November 22nd.

For the 2012 edition of the Guinness World Records, Gaga has been listed for Most Followers on Twitter. We certainly will be following her so that we know when she released her full video for “Marry The Night”! Will you?

Rihanna's New Album: Set For Release November 21

From her debut album in 2005 Music of the Sun to her latest album Loud, released almost exactly a year ago, she has captured the hearts of people living across the world. She has sold over 20 million albums and 60 million singles and is the youngest artist to achieve eleven number-one singles on the Hot 100. In 2008 she celebrated her birthday in Barbados and was appointed as its official ambassador of youth and culture. It is none other than Barbadian pop recording artist Rihanna and we at Girl Zone are very excited to announce the release of her new album Talk That Talk.

The album will comprise 14 songs, including the single We Found Love which premiered on September 22. As part of the album’s promotion, Rihanna has created a campaign page on Facebook entitled Rihanna: UNLOCKED. Fans complete a number of missions in order to ‘unlock’ information about the album. On October 4 the fifth mission was unlocked, which revealed the title of the album.

We are very excited by the news of her new album and will be the first in line for when the album hits the stores on November 21. We hope to see you there!!
